The drawing featured on the T-shirt was created in Spring 2025, during a period of deep fascination with Paul Klee. I found myself in awe of the freedom and playfulness of his line, his love of colour (he claimed, somewhat immodestly, "I and colour are one") and the way he used abstraction to reach beyond the visible world.

Klee famously described drawing as "taking a line for a walk." The drawings in the series are my own small walks, taken while sitting still in a wild garden - overgrown, full of weeds and untamed plants. Nature was a constant source of inspiration for Klee, and here it is for me too: the garden as a place to look slowly, to notice, and to let the hand move freely across the page.
